I want to say thank you to everyone at Voices. They quite literally saved me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their help and generosity. They have supported me when I had no one else and never once put me down for anything I have told them. I can’t sing their praises enough. I wasn’t even sure if I was a victim but still gave them a call, and l urge anyone that is even unsure to still make that call. I am proud to be a warrior now and I stand up for myself when before | left, l couldn’t. No one should have to go through any degree or type of DV, we all matter and we all have a purpose in this life. I believe I went through it to share my story, speak up, and gain some much needed confidence. I can fight for myself now. I will fight for myself, my children, and anyone else that needs it.
